Welcome! We are a developmental research laboratory, investigating how children learn, remember, and think. Our work sits at the exciting intersection of Psychology and Cognitive Neuroscience. We’re especially interested in how children form memories of their experiences, how introspective abilities develop over time, and how children make decisions based on what they remember. We also apply this research framework in the context of chronic medical conditions. To explore these questions, we use a combination of behavioral experiments, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and eye-tracking.

    We use advanced neuroimaging methods such as functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) to study how neural development supports performance on our experimental measures of memory.
