Nathalie Moriarty

Nathalie is a 5th year student in the lab. Nathalie is broadly interested in how memory develops in young children and the development of metacognition.

In particular, Nathalie is interested in understanding the emergence and development of metacognition. How is it that a young child can have psychological experiences such as perception and memory, and evaluate and make decisions informed by those experiences. Beyond their research, they love crocheting, disability and neurodiversity advocacy, and communicating science to the public.
